Forget what you hear about Kings Cross, in contrast, Potts Point is a great suburb that is leafy, quiet and has a European sophiscation feel to it. It is close to the Royal Botanical Garden, Sydney Domain, and the Woolloomooloo docks. It\'s an easy 30 mins stroll to Elizabeth St via all the above.

Potts Point is kind of half way between Darling Harbour and Kings Cross, so is shabby on one side and gleeming on the other! Very central and convenient.

Potts Point is an area of contrast - so close to the red lights of the Kings Cross area and yet with a sophistication that means double the price at the cafes and restaurants

Cafe culture and trendy fancy shops, and nicely by funny old kings cross! There are some lovely homes on the water here, worth a wander.

A nice little suburb of Sydney. Pretty funky and lots of nice places to eat. Try the Arun Thai Restaurant if you get the chance. One of the nicest Thai Restaurants in Sydney with a great selection and fantastic staff.

A place to see and be seen, with its cafe culture and high end boutiques mixed with the colour of the near by King\'s Cross area.

A historic & beautiful corner of Sydney, with beautiful views and many historic victorian style homes & mansions.

Too close to Kings Cross to be classy in my opinion but these waterview apartments go for a bomb now. Nice restaurants and cafes and a nice boho feel.

Nice cafes and petite restaurants give this part of town a relaxing and intimate venue for many occasions.

The prettier side of Kings Cross for a start. It\'s interesting how it just changes from one end to the other.
