A nice quite alternative to the other more busy beaches in Sydney and it has a really nice real sense to it

Coogee is like a Bondi Beach for real people, the nice sand and water without all the showponies

Coogee Bay, it is located right next to the famous Bondi Beach, there is a nice walk you can do between this two places and if you get thirsty, the Coogee Bay Hotel is a good call. You can get some good cold aussie bears

A great suburb on the cliff tops in Sydney. Great walks along beaches from here. Good surf and a great selection of restaurants. Worth a peak if in Sydney

The beach makes the place. I found it to be dirty amidst the cosmopolitan cafes, surf shops and pubs. Some great pubs in Coogee.

Oh I like Coogee although now so do a load of pommie backpackers. There is a beautiful walk from Coogee to bondi which epitomises Sydney beach life. Good restaurants along beachfront quieter than Bondi but a great aussie beach.

One of Sydney\'s favourite beaches, Coogee epitomises Sydneysiders love affair with the water and the sand and also boasts some pretty impressive homes.

Stay in Coogee quite a bit as my sister lives there. The Crowne Plaza is a fantastic place to stay. The kids also love Coogee and La Mila is a great Italian place to eat. Coogee Bay is a great pub. Overall a great place for a weekend or a week.

My local beach. Gets busy in the summer with backpackers and tourists. Gordons Bay is less busy. Plenty of restaurants and 2 main bars. Try Five os for a cheap meal.

Coogee is like going to a beach resort in the middle of a city. Not far from central Sydney, this is a very relaxing place, and not as touristy as other Sydney beaches

One of Coogee\'s secrets if that is Wylie\'s Baths. Located south of Coogee Beach, find the colourful pavillion to have a nice ocean pool swim.

I just started socialising in Coogee and like it very much, once again a heap of backpackers in Summer and it\'s a nice beach and very hard to walk back home without going into Coogee Bay Hotel, nice big pub and has good entertainment there regularly. Plenty of Cafes and Restaurants to eat which is very good.
