It's features include: A two bedroom cottage with separate guest accommodation in the waterfront boathouse. Two bathrooms including an original clawfoot bath. Gourmet kitchen with ceasarstone breakfast bar. Bi-fold picture windows open the entire living area to reveal stunning Pittwater views whilst you enjoy alfresco dining in chic surrounds. In the evenings retreat to the covered BBQ entertaining area surrounded by tropical gardens and flowing onto the waterfront deck. The outdoor deck setting is perfect for afternoon drinks before retreating to the cottage terrace for sunset dining. Bay Cottage offers complete relaxation by the water.

Accommodation comprises: The master bedroom provides a romantic hideaway with luxury mattress. Open the sliding panels to reveal the main living area and beautiful views. The adjacent light filled sun room can be converted to a private bedroom or a relaxing reading area. This open planned cottage provides a perfect escape from everything but is within walking distance of famous cafes, restaurants and shops in exclusive Palm Beach.

The original boathouse on the waters edge has french doors opening onto a large deck. Watch the sun set over Kuringai Chase National Park and fall asleep to the lapping water. Awake to breakfast with the fairy penguins and dolphins and hand feed the pelicans of Pittwater. The boathouse has a queen bed and three children's bunks (if you can't leave them at home) and a kitchenette. The nautical boathouse bathroom is situated in the tropical garden.

Arrive by seaplane, water taxi, own boat or car, there is a bus service from the city almost to the door.

Explore the waterways take a day trip on the ferry or hire a canoe or runabout at Carmel's at Northern Palm Beach. For a special celebration hire a seaplane to pick you up off the local Jetty and dine at Cottage Point or Peats Bite on the Hawkesbury River. For an unfortgettable view of Sydney try the return trip to Rose Bay.

What to do: Your stay at Bay Cottage can be about doing nothing or being as active as you wish. There are secluded beaches, great local walks, hire boats, ferry trips to the Basin, Patonga or Ettalong. At the cottage you can swim from the deck and at low tide explore your own beach. At high tide try your luck with the fishing rods and catch your own supper.

An array of restaurants and cafes provide everything for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Pick up takeaway from Palmies famous local fish and chip shop and picnic on the beach.

Fresh bread and grocery supplies are available at the local store within a two minute walk and excellent boutiques are just around the corner if you forget your cossie.
